Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS A MEET AND GREET AND WHAT HAPPENS?

All new clients are required to complete a free meet and greet. This gives you the opportunity to meet us and we of course get to meet you and your pet(s). These sessions are scheduled at your convenience and are at your own home. You will be required to complete some forms for safety and insurance purposes. The session will last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.

 

WHEN AND HOW LONG CAN I HAVE MY DOG WALKED?

Dogs can be walked for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour and can be scheduled between the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm. Dogs that are being pet sat may be walked outside of these times.

 

CAN YOU WALK MY DOG AT WEEKENDS?

Yes, we are open everyday of the week including weekends.

 

HOW OFTEN WILL I GET UPDATES?

We will give you an update on your pet after every visit we make. If we are carrying out pet sitting, updates will be once daily, unless more is requested.

 

WHAT PETS DO YOU COVER WHEN PET SITTING?

Any and all pets are covered when pet sitting. We will not ignore any pets.

 

CAN I HAVE MY CAT VISITED TWICE A DAY?

Yes, cats can be visited either once or twice a day. Cats and other animals are required to be visited at least once every day for safety purposes.

 

WILL YOU SHARE VISITS WITH MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS?

It is not unusual for us to share visits with friends and family, however we do require a waiver to be signed, so that we are not responsible if your friends or family does something wrong or doesn't turn up.

 

CAN I HAVE A SPECIFIC TIME SLOT?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a specific time slot, unless your pet is on time sensitive medication (e.g. insulin). Generally for lunchtime slots we walk your dog between 11:00am-2:00pm. Puppy visits that are twice daily are between 9:30am-11:00am and again between 2:00pm-3:30pm. For holiday cover, AM visits are between 6:00am-9:00am and PM visits are between 5:00pm-7:00pm.

 

WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY?

For any service, invoices are emailed to the email address provided on the Pet Information form. Invoices are emailed either before the visits are started (for pet sitting, holiday cover and home boarding) or emailed after the visits have ended (for dog walking, home visits and puppy visits). All these invoices have a due date, in which payments should be made by. Payments maybe made by cash or bank transfer.

 

CAN I TIP MY DOG WALKER OR PET SITTER?

Yes of course.
