Everything You Need to Know
What Happens at the Meet and Greet?
All new clients are required to complete a free meet and greet. These give us the opportunity to meet you and your pet(s) and you of course, get to meet us. These sessions are scheduled at your convenience and are at your own home. You will be required to complete some forms for safety and insurance purposes and provide a house key or code. Meet and greets can last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
How often do I get updates?
We give you an update on your pet after every visit we make. If we are carrying out pet sitting, updates will be once daily, unless more is requested.
Can I have a specific time slot?
We don’t give specific times, however here is the approximate timings for services:
Group dog walks are between 10:30am-2:30pm.
Puppy Visits are between 10:00am-10:30am (AM) and 2:30pm-3:00pm (PM).
Home Visits and Solo Walks are before 10:00am and after 3:00pm.
Holiday Cover is between 7:00am-9:00am (AM) and 4:00pm-6:00pm (PM).
When and how do I pay?
For any service, invoices are emailed to the address provided on the pet information sheet. Invoices are emailed either before or after walks/visits. All invoices have a due date, in which payments should be made by. Details of excepted payment methods are located on the invoice.
When and how long can I have my dog walked?
Dogs can be walked everyday including weekends for 30 minutes or 1 hour (Solo) and for 1 hour long group walks.
Will you walk my dog at weekends?
Yes, we are open all week, including weekends.
Will you take my dog off the lead?
Yes, with your permission and after a few walks on the lead to get your dog used to us and the other dogs they're with (if in a group walk).
Will you walk my dog together with someone else’s dog?
Depending on the socialisation status of your dog, dogs may be put into a group walk with other dogs. We will assess whether your dog is suitable and only put dogs together that are likely doggy friends.
What pets do you cover when pet sitting?
Any and all pets are covered when pet sitting. We will not ignore any pets.
Can I have my cat visited twice a day?
Yes, we allow cat visits for once or twice a day.
Will you share visits with my friends or family?
It is not unusual for us to share visits with friends and family, however we do require a waiver to be signed, so that we are not responsible if your friends or family does something wrong.
Do you cover small holding or livestock animals?
Yes, we have a wide array of knowledge when it comes to these types of animals. Previously we have covered Chickens, Sheep, Goats, Ponies, Peacocks, llamas and Alpacas. If you have any unusual animals just let us know and we can cater for them.
What happens in an emergency?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will contact you immediately. If we cannot get hold of you, your emergency contact will be called. All details have to be filled in on the pet information sheet at the meet and greet. If veterinary assistance is required, we will take your pet to your preferred vet or the closest one depending on where we are. Your pet will not be left unattended unless the vet has advised that it is safe to do so.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured with Protectivity. Please feel free to ask for our insurance certificate.
